Wendy started this companion swap to the Knitting Vintage Socks Knit-A-Long which is based on the book by Nancy Bush. This is a secret swap (my favorite!) and you'll send your partner a pair of socks knit from the book, something to eat, a knitting gadget and something that smells nice.

Swap date: October 31, 2007

Another one that I missed and I really must apologize for this one. There are quite a few Harry Potter-themed swaps out there and I don't really follow the books or anything so they all sort of blend together for me. I truly thought I had posted this one already. So, my bad. This round of the swap, you can either swap sock kits or scarf kits. Kits consist of a kit bag, yarn, needles, stitch markers, and a pattern.

Sock It To Me Sock Swap

Sock It To Me Sock Swap

Sign-up date: June 30, 2007
Swap date: July 5th-October 5th, 2007

Partners are sent one pair of handmade socks along with knitting/crocheting/spinning items. You must have a blog and the monetary minimum is $40. Sounds fun but would I be able to knit socks in 3 months? Seeing as how I have been working on the same sock (singular) for about a year now, I think my partner would be sadly disappointed.
