Make 5 stitch markers for each of your partners (you can request as many or as few partners as you want!) and get that many back. I think the status stitch markers have taken on is really interesting. I just use whatever's handy, yarn, my ring, paper clips, but some people collect beautiful markers just as people collect Hummels or matchbox cars. I suppose they are the prettiest item associated with knitting, besides the knitting itself.
