200 posts!

That's right, there's been over 200 posts here at the SwapDex! And in honor of this momentous occasion, I'd like to hear from you. Tell me what you like and don't like. Annoyed by the format of my posts. Should I post more hand-selected Swap-Bot swaps? Or maybe no Swap-Bot swaps at all? Are my posts too dry and staid? Or maybe they're too chatty sometimes? Let me know!

I haven't had nearly enough feedback about the SwapDex and I'm ready for it after 200 posts! I've been called a spamblog (by people who obviously don't know how well swaps can hide out here on the interweb) because yes, I do regurgitate what others have already posted so maybe they have a point. I've also had some very nice people tell me they appreciate the SwapDex and the security it gives them knowing they haven't missed an awesome swap! Whatever your opinion, shout it out here in the comments!

okay - i only found you very recently, but i really like "swapdex"... why? because those swaps can be wily little things that lurk and hide and scurry as soon as you see them! keep up the good work. : )

I am subscribed to your blog so i can be updated on any swaps out there. I am most interested in the swaps that have to do with fabric but it is fun to hear what is going on.

I love your site too! Keep on keeping on!

I love the SwapDex - it actually has familiarized me with a lot more crafty types out there than I would've come across on my own. I even signed up for my very first Swap from the SwapDex. I think it's really useful - there's so much out there, and it's hard to keep track of everything without a place like this!

I'm one of those people who was constantly finding out about swaps a day or two after the closing deadline. So I was very happy to find your blog. I've signed up for a knitting swap that I found through SwapDex and it's been a lot of fun! I don't really have any suggestions for improvement on the formatting though, I like it just fine the way it is!

Perfect just the way it is! Thanks for bringing all the info to one place.

Once again, I love your blog and don't think it is "spammy" at all. I love being able to come here and find which swaps are most interesting to me and which I want to participate in.

The ONLY suggestion I would offer is that I would prefer to see less (or no) Swap-Bot swaps posted here. They are pretty comprehensive with their search engines, etc. there and, from my experiences, are not even a great place to sway sometimes.

As this is a BLOG in and of itself, I think that only BLOG swaps should be posted here.

Just my two-cents. :)

I think I have visited your blog every day since I discovered it a week or ten days ago. :) Your format works for me-- just enough info on each swap to tell me if I want to click on the site or not. I like swapping, but I seem to always find them a little past the deadlines. So I'm really enjoying your blog-- thank you! :)

p.s. You also turned pointed me to SwapBot, which I am reading almost daily, too.

You have a very useful blog. Enjoy coming and finding out what swaps are up and running. Would never find them on my own.

Thank you!

Thank you!

i love the swapdex!! recommendation: ratings for completed swaps! especially for recurring swaps, I'd certainly like to know if it's one where people actually follow rules...i've had a bad apple (hasn't stopped me) that really left a bad taste in my mouth (my reading spot's book swap) and i hope no one else gets flaked on. the whole "rate the swap" thing may help that :) otherwise, your site rocks!!

Hi Jenna,
I like the "SwapDex", it's my 1 stop shop to see what kind of swap is out there and I can quickly scan them to see if I am interested or not.
It's a big time-saver for me!
Now, if you can just make the swap items for me and just let me sit back and enjoy the plunder; I would really LOVE it. J/k
Keep up the GREAT work. I really appreciate all you do for us.
:) Bren
